Emma Wilkinson is an insightful, wise and effective existential psychotherapist, counsellor and life coach. She has enjoyed working with people from all walks of life. She is UKCP accredited and qualified as a psychotherapist in 2006. Emma has a wide experience having worked as a therapist and supervisor at Bupa, the NHS and in private practice. Further she lectures in psychotherapy at the Open University and New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (NSPC).

She is primarily an existential psychotherapist but also draws on mindfulness, Jungian depth psychology, systemic constellations and person centred theory. Her work is flexible and is built around what the client is comfortable with. This means sessions are largely built on a conversational relationship of trust and real focus. She loves working creatively as it usually brings richness and powerful insight. Sessions may include working with dreams, active imagination, poetry, photography or play.
